A figure looks wrong

Send the share link of your calculation (it carries the nation, price and buyer situation you entered) and, if you have it, the figure on your solicitor’s completion statement or from the HMRC, Revenue Scotland or Welsh Revenue Authority calculator. We check it against the published bands and reply with what we found.

Embedding the calculator

Estate agents, conveyancers, housing associations and local newsrooms can embed the three-nation calculator free of charge. The code is on the embed page.

What we cannot do

We cannot file a return, contact a tax authority for you or say whether a particular relief applies to your file. For that, speak to your solicitor or conveyancer, or to HMRC, Revenue Scotland or the Welsh Revenue Authority.

Response time

Usually within five working days, corrections first. All rates are re-read at least every 12 months and after every Budget.
